Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Is this actually in 2.6.26 now? Do you have a code reference?

This is being implemented in RHEL 5.3 in RHBZ 442409 which in ON_QA

Since this is already upstream, and RHEL 6 will include a recent upstream kernel, setting to MODIFIED.

The feature requested has already been accepted into the upstream code base
planned for the next major release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

When the next milestone release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 is available,
please verify that the feature requested is present and functioning as
desired.

Tested Snap4, and ehea interface works fine after the load of the kdump kernel.
