Please try https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/ntfs-3g-1.5012-3.fc9 and see if it makes things better for you. If not, please try to come up with a quick reproduction case that I can show to upstream. As is, this bug report is a bit too vague for me to even start troubleshooting it.
