Created attachment 317427 [details] screenshot of the dialog uninstalling OpenOffice (from opneoffice.org) Description of problem: Whenever there is a transaction with a large number of packages, either for install or uninstall, causes the review dialog (to accept the transaction) to be too large to fit the screen, which makes it difficult to apply the selected changes. This is especially problematic for wide-screen laptop displays (like mine) where the vertical resoltion is about 800-900 pixels (compared to the native resolution of the majority of 4:3 monitors of 1280x1024) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-packagekit-0.2.5-2.fc9.x86_64 How reproducible: Always with a large number of packages in the transaction. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start add/remove software 2. Either install/uninstall a large number of packages 3. In a widescreen monitor (1280x800 res) the confirmation dialog wont fit the screen. Actual results: The dialog is too big to fit the screen to see the buttons. Expected results: The dialog to have some sort of scrolling (or like menu items when the contents are larger than the available screen real estate). Additional info:
In rawhide it looks like this: http://www.packagekit.org/img/gpk-added-deps.png When the beta is out, I'll look into backporting the new PK into F9.
