Description of problem: My sound card does not work out of the box, and I'm submitting a bug as told in the release notes.

I have a Dell Precision T3400 workstation. According to Dell's website, the sound chip is an analog devices 1984

/sbin/lspci identifies the sound card as follows:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 02)
        Subsystem: Dell Unknown device 0214
        Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16
        Memory at fdffc000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]

        Kernel driver in use: HDA Intel
        Kernel modules: snd-hda-intel
