If you have an application with several KMainWindow's that have different sizes it can happen that the windows get resized when they shouldn't.

Example:

 - open konsole
 - open second konsole window
 - resize second konsole window
 - open new tab in first konsole window
 -> first window gets resized to be the same size as the second one

A solution has been discussed in the upstream bug report and the patch should be committed to trunk soon. The patch applies cleanly to KDE 4.1.2.
