Description Muayyad Alsadi 2008-10-23 20:04:56 UTC
Description of problem:
when I passed textinst to the snapshot 3 of fedora 10 livecd
(with or without rhgb boot parameter)
I got "Welcome to fedora" curses dialog but pressing ENTER, TAB, F12 won't dismiss it, if any key is pressed plymouth progress bar reappear again and the screen switches between that and the previous one and anaconda is not responding it seems that plymouth consumes all events

It could be that anaconda did not dismiss plymouth properly as suggested by ajax on the mailing list

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
snapshot 3 of fedora 10

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot the F10 snap 3 livecd
2. press TAB to pass "liveinst" [you may press backspace several times to remove rhgb]
3. try to dismiss welcome screen

Actual results:
anaconda stop responding

Expected results:
plymouth ends to allow welcome screen to be dismissed to continue installation

Additional info:
tested on qemu-kvm only
