Description of problem: Everytime I click on an internet radio stadion which is an asx stream, banshee will crash. Those asx-stream play fine in totem-gstreamer, so it is no problem of missing or bad codecs. Banshee 1.4.1 no longer crashes, but still does not open the ASX stream: [Error 17:34:40.897] GStreamer resource error: OpenRead This might be an upstream bug, will investigate. Thanks for the report. Note that as this is no longer a crasher bug, and ASX/WMA playback is not officially supported, I'm lowering the priority and severity to low.
This problem is partially resolved; some ASX stream actually works (see referenced bug report): for example: http://www1.streaming.net.nz/meta/tvworks-rock.asx
