Description Michal Schmidt 2008-11-11 15:39:04 UTC
Created attachment 323181 [details]
speech_tools PulseAudio support

Description of problem:
Festival should support PulseAudio directly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
festival-1.96-6.fc10

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run festival
2. (Parameter.set 'Audio_Method 'pulseaudio)
3. (SayText "test")

Actual results:
Unknown audio server protocol pulseaudio

Expected results:
Festival speaks through PulseAudio.

Additional info:
I implemented support for PulseAudio into speech_tools. See the attached patch. It was made against speech_tools-1.2.96-beta.tar.gz. Please make sure it gets upstream (I'd send it myself, but I'm not sure where exactly current upstream is - I don't know where the +awb patch came from).

Patch looks good to me from a quick glance.

Comment 4 Matthias Clasen 2009-09-29 14:43:10 UTC
Built for F12 and F13, and filed a ticket to get it tagged for F12.

I see modified but nothing after, should this still be open?

Comment 6 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2013-03-02 02:01:16 UTC
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
