This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 10 development cycle.
Changing version to '10'.

Any chance you can use latencytop to find out about what might be causing PA to miss its deadlines?

I am experiencing the same issue. If I use the scroll wheel on the mouse the sounds chops up and crackles.

It's not just limited to mouse movement. It appears that whenever the computer is doing something the audio gets affected. I tried running the visualisation in RhythmBox and it made the music very bad indeed.

Thx
M.
