Description Ryan O'Hara 2008-12-14 23:58:49 UTC
I've installed Fedora 10 from x86_64 DVD media. Once the install has completed, I'm given the normal "Congratulations" screen.

The problem is that I cannot eject the CD/DVD at that point in time. In the past I could eject the CD/DVD (before hitting 'OK', which will reboot the machine) by simply pressing the eject button on the drive. This no longer works. A little investigation revealed that the DVD is still mounted. That would explain it.

I don't know what changed, but I'm of the opinion that by the time we've finished the install, the media should be unmounted such that the CD/DVD can be ejected prior to reboot. The way it currently works requires that I click "OK", and race to eject the CD/DVD before it attempts to boot from it again.
