I downloaded RHEL server 5.3 beta and try to install it. Installation in graphical mode (probably 1024x768) succeeded. Post installation (e.g. adding at least one user) in graphical mode (probably 1600x1000 or better) succeeded. But after, (supposing restart X), server X freeze. Screen remain black. Unable to switch between terminals. Unable to kill X server. Unable to restart laptop (Ctrl-Alt-Del) or power off it (button) No other choice to unplug the battery. New startup in graphical mode. At login time, X try to start but failed. Unplug battery. Start up in run level 3 to get the following log.

You close this bug report without fix and minimal explanation??? Do you follow yours studies in Guantanamo? Shame on you!
Dear reporter, the closing of this bugzilla is result of cleanup because RHEL-5 entered production phase 2 ( see https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/errata/ for details ). Red Hat is supported on limited set of hardware, for details, please check https://hardware.redhat.com/ . I don't see your laptop in the list of supported hardware for RHEL-5. For fixing such issues, you need the physical hardware to debug the problem - this is the reason for the limited hardware support. We appreciate the feedback and look to use reports such as this to guide our efforts at improving our products. That being said, this bug tracking system is not a mechanism for requesting support, and we are not able to guarantee the timeliness or suitability of a resolution. Next time, if some issue is critical or in any way time sensitive, please raise a ticket through your regular Red Hat support channels to make certain it receives the proper attention and prioritization to assure a timely resolution.
