Description R P Herrold 2008-12-29 19:56:09 UTC
Description of problem:

python-configobj will not build on Fedora 9, due to missing egg-info conditional per

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/PythonEggs

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

python-configobj-4.5.3-3.fc11.src.rpm

How reproducible:

attempt to build in a pre Fedora 10 environment -- as the egg_info conditional mentioned is missing, it fails as the egg_info file expected is absent

Steps to Reproduce:

as above

Actual results:

no binary RPM and a error stop

Expected results:

a clean build on older in support versions

Additional info:

Please ask if you need a patch -- it is trivial

along the files:

%if 0%{?fedora} >= 9
%{python_sitelib}/*.egg-info
%endif
