cdrom test failed (using hts5.3-12)

Description of problem:
cdrom test failed using Sony CD-RW media under RHEL5U3 (hts5.3-12)
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
2.install test kit
3.run cdrom test
error: could not write to disc
pass with either CD+RW and CD-RW media
please provide the "results.xml" file.

the error is :
Error: "cdrecord dev=/dev/hda -checkdrive" has output on stderr
could you please try to run the command "cdrecord dev=/dev/hda -checkdrive" and copy the output here ?

opticalDiskTest.py patch to return "" when TAO and SAO not found
Verified cdrom test passed with SONY CD-RW media in hts-5.3-14.
