Description Jim Gribbin 2009-01-14 03:19:00 EST
Description of problem: Gnome Control Panel fails to load several Capplets.

Isn't this program supposed to be in one of the menus? I seem to have to launch it from a terminal as I can't find it in the menus.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: Every time I run it

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start program
Actual results:

[jimg@jimstoshiba ~]$ gnome-control-center

error raised: [libslab_get_gconf_value: error getting /desktop/gnome/applications/main-menu/lock-down/user_modifiable_apps]

** (gnome-control-center:5900): WARNING **:

Additional info: Pretty much a recent, stock, fresh install. About the only things set-up, other than from the F-10 DVD is the stuff from: http://www.gagme.com/greg/linux/f10-tips.php

Never mind about it not showing up in the menus. For some reason that particular menu choice was not activated.

The control-center shell is a piece of junk, which is why it doesn't appear in the menus. We should really just kill it in the distribution...
