Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 481188
Possible missing dependancy in rpm - python-setuptools
Last modified: 2009-07-11 13:26:33 EDT
Description of problem:
When installing from the updates repository, it only installs mumbles.
As per their web site python-setuptools is a dependency. Might want to set the dependency on the rpm
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Just on my box - haven't tested beyond.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install mumbles
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/mumbles", line 17, in <module>
from Mumbles import *
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/mumbles/Mumbles.py", line 13, in <module>
ImportError: No module named pkg_resources
app should work
Installed the package and it worked. Not that big of a deal for me really, just a small little bug. Just a missing dependency in the rpm.
