Description of problem:I would like to understand what gnome-settings-daemon does, how it works, what options it takes, etc, and I find that it does not have a manpage (or even an infopage).

rpm -qi gnome-settings-daemon will tell you that.

Given that the binary isn't installed in /usr/bin but in /usr/libexec, I don't see the point of it having a man page.

Feel free to report that upstream (http://bugzilla.gnome.org) if you feel strongly about it.
