Description Bruce vaNorman 2009-01-27 18:49:28 EST
Description of problem: kmod-rt2860 does not install rt2860 support

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel 2.6.27.12-78.2.8.fc9.i686

How reproducible: the steps below worked (ra0 created and functional) with kernel 2.6.27.9-73.fc9.i686

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum -y remove kmod-rt2860 rt2860
2. cold restart (full shutdown)
3. yum -y install kmod-rt2860
4. cold restart

Actual results: no ra0 or other wireless device present
.../extras is empty

Expected results: network device ra0 created and functional
.../extras/rt2860/rt2860sta.ko created

Additional info: The host is an ASUS EEE 1000
kmod-rt2860 successfully installed rt2860 support in kernel 2.6.27.9-73.fc9.i686
where it can be removed and reinstalled reliably.
