Description Lukas Bezdicka 2009-01-29 10:16:54 UTC
Description of problem:
There is international standard for units, somehow I have feeling applications should offer it as default settings.

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add weather report applet to panel
2. Open it's settings

Actual results:
The default unit settings aren't standard.

Expected results:
Standard metric units.

Additional info:
As I don't wish to start holy war, wouldn't it be good to look at your timezone (as it's often more acurate than locale) and if you aren't from Liberia, Myanmar and the United States it should be in metric.

Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2009-01-30 05:50:55 UTC
The weather applet leaves it to translators to pick the appropriate default for their locale.
