Description of problem: When doing a suspend/resume cycle everything works ok. If this is done again, say, an hour later, everything is still ok. However, doing another suspend/resume few minutes after the previous cycle, pm-suspend exits with 1 and logs an error: /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/95packagekit resume suspend: Error org.freedesktop.Pa ckageKit.InvalidState: Already asked to refresh normal state less than 600 secon ds ago Returned exit code 1. I think this is innocent and could be ignored in 95packagekit script. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pm-utils-1.2.2.1-2.fc10.i386 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Suspend/resume 2. Suspend/resume again with 10 minutes since the previous cycle 3. Notice the error in log and the return value from the command indicating an error Additional info: This comes up at least for zsh users as many of them have zsh to print non-zero exit status from commands.
That should be easy to fix. Thanks & regards, Phil
Well I now tested with F11ß, the script looks identical to F10 version but I was able to confirm the behaviour since the second resume from suspend never finished. So I can only assume that the original issue is still present in F11ß.
Resume work normally now with latest kernel update and I was able to confirm that the original issue still is still present.
Doh, silly me. This is of course part of PackageKit. Reassigning. Thanks & regards, Phil
