Description Patrick C. F. Ernzer 2009-02-04 17:41:36 UTC
Description of problem:
I am experiencing upstream bug http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1930788&group_id=16191&atid=116191

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
oprofile-0.9.3-18.el5

How reproducible:
sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run oprofile to collect data
2. need to use oparchive to make a directory to be tar'ed up

Actual results:
oparchive may give error: basic_string::erase

Expected results:
oparchive reliably puts the data directory together

Additional info:
known upstream bug, see above. Sadly that has not moved in about 10 months

Comment 2 Patrick C. F. Ernzer 2009-02-04 18:01:09 UTC
agh, mixed up my testruns, that was on F10 with updates not RHEL5.3
