Description Felix Schwarz 2009-02-11 07:02:24 UTC
With Fedora 11 Alpha anaconda tries to build the VG names based on the hostname. However, '-' is not an allowed character for a volume group. Nevertheless anaconda tries to set these as VG name which is of course not possible.

Actual results:
Installation not possible unless the user changes the VG name.

Expected results:
Anaconda should remove or replace characters which are not allowed for a VG name.

I fixed this on February 5, so it should be in the current build of anaconda in rawhide.
