In Fedora we now have a patch for adding a --rm_partitions cmdline option to dmraid. It would be really good to have this in RHEL-5.4 too, as that will allow us to fix bug 475384.

I've done a test build of RHEL-5.3 dmraid with this patch, and then modified mkinitrd to pass the new option, and I can confirm that this fixes bug 475384.

Note the Fedora patch applies to the RHEL-5.3 dmraid without needing any changes (and works without any changes).
