Description of problem: When "Open existing presentation" is selected, "Create" button is still sensitive and opens existing presentation, not new one. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rpm -q openoffice.org-impress-core openoffice.org-impress openoffice.org-impress-core-3.0.1-15.2.fc10.x86_64 openoffice.org-impress-3.0.1-15.2.fc10.x86_64 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. run ooimpress and "Presentation Wizard" appears 2. select "Open existing presentation" radio button and select some existing presentation 3. click "Create" button Actual results: Existing presentation is opened. Expected results: Button "Create" should have "Open" label based on context of dialog or it should not be sensitive at all. Additional info:
Sure I guess we could fiddle around and toggle it to say "Open" on changing the state of the toggle. I still find it kind of weird though that its even worth a bug, hard to imagine that it bothers anyone greatly.
Indeed, it's not a big issue but it can be really confusing for users. First time I encountered this bug I was worried about my existing presentation if it is going to overwrite it or what :) You expect "Open" to be there and clicks without thinking when you realize that it's called "Create".
Fair enough, patch to implement toggling it from "Create" to "Open" for the appropriate meaning upstreamed as http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=99423 Can't really add it into Fedora though, because it affects localized strings and I'm not in a position to provide all the neccessary translations so needs upstreaming into the localization system
