Description Kamil Pawlowski 2009-02-28 17:33:21 UTC
Description of problem:
Mediatomb will not start when system booting. I guess this is because network interface starts after mediatomb, this is from /var/log/mediatomb:

ERROR: Could not determine interface address
ERROR: Could not find interface: eth0

After system start I can run mediatomb by the hand, throught /etc/init.d/mediatomb.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mediatomb-0.11.0-3.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:
Enable service mediatomb in system-config-services

I confirm the bug with mediatomb-0.11.0-7.fc11.x86_64

Problem still persists for me.

Name : mediatomb
Arch : x86_64
Version : 0.11.0
Release : 9.fc11

Why is the init script linked to as S20mediatomb? This has it starting before NetworkManager.

Comment 13 Vesa Halttunen 2010-02-04 22:43:46 UTC
Problem still present in mediatomb-0.11.0-11.fc12.i686.
