Created attachment 336883 [details]
Xorg.0.log

Description of problem:
Video jitters (Totem): most of the play time plays too fast with occasional short slowdowns.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
I've tested with Rawhide 2009-03-26 test cd (nouveau test day)
Later upgraded the driver from http://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/xorg-x11-drv-nouveau/0.0.12/16.20090326git01cee29.fc11/i586/xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-0.0.12-16.20090326git01cee29.fc11.i586.rpm but got same results.

How reproducible:
Video is taken from http://www.redhat.com/v/magazine/ogg/NET_MAN.ogg (link from the https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_nouveau_xvideo

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the video with Totem and watch ;)
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:
Nice and smooth ;)

Update: no such problem when I boot live cd into runlevel 3 (text console) and start X with startx command. Same video is playing as expected. Not sure it's nouveau problem after all.

I'm going to set this as needinfo (reporter), then, until you can be sure what exactly the issue is - try testing with nv or proprietary driver? try different test videos? check Xorg.0.log and xsession-errors? check with a different video player app?
