Description Kenneth Topp 2009-03-28 16:05:00 UTC
cannot start gmond. recompiling the ganglia package and installing ganglia and ganglia-gmond fixed the issue.

attaching the report. code has no issues, so must be bad compilation.

Looking in to it, I don't have a rawhide install handy at the moment so it might take a few hours.

Comment 3 Kostas Georgiou 2009-03-29 17:46:04 UTC
ganglia-3.1.2-3.fc11 has been build and fixes the problem (at least in my test machine).

I am not sure how gcc/glibc caused the problem in the previous build since I don't see any obvious bugfixes there that could have caused it :(
