Screenshot of 'xmgrace' showing font corruption for accelmethod "exa"

Description of problem:
After installing current "rawhide" on a system equipped with an ATI Radeon X800 video card, axis labels in 'xmgrace' exhibit a blue background.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.12.0-2.fc11.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use 'xmgrace' for plotting some data set.

Actual results:
Black axis labels are rendered on top of blue boxes whereas the global background color is white making labels essentially unreadable.

Expected results:
Black axis labels are rendered on a white background.

Additional info:
Enforcing use of acceleration architecture "xaa" allows to restore proper behaviour.

Thanks for the bug report. We have reviewed the information you have provided above, and there is some additional information we require that will be helpful in our diagnosis of this issue.

Please attach X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log) and the output of "dmesg" to the bug report as individual uncompressed text/plain file attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link below. Please also include all the needed information to run "xmgrace" properly i.e. the full command line or dataset.

Could you please also try with the latest xorg-x11-drv-ati and kernel available from :
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=95

We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information.

    Thank you in advance.
