Description of problem:
I don't get to see the spiffy boot animation on my laptop, only the boring bars...

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 11 Beta Gnome LiveCD

How reproducible:
Run the LiveCD, boot - no spiffy boot animation!!
  
Actual results:
Boring colored overimposing bars

Expected results:
Spiffy animation, and smoother transitions from X to VT and back

This isn't a feature that's enabled by default as it hasn't been extensively tested, you need to add nouveau.modeset=1 to your kernel options to try it :)
