Description dominique 2009-04-02 14:47:59 UTC
Description of problem:
I have an Epson DX5050 all-in-one and when I launch xsane I ear my scanner, but I have not gui of xsane on desktop.
When I launch xsane by console, there is no errors messages.
I try launch xsane as root, but same results.

-Fedora11 rawhide beta, kde 4.2.2.

Please run xsane via strace (as your normal user):

     strace -Ff -o /tmp/xsane-strace.txt xsane

Let it sit for a while, then interrupt it (Ctrl+C) and attach the resulting strace output /tmp/xsane-strace.txt to this ticket.

Do you have a smolt profile online so that I can look up your hardware?

Hi
The new package xsane-0.996-7.fc11 solve problem.
Now when I launch xsane, I have the gui on my desktop, and that work fine.
