oo.org dump log

Description of problem: OO.org 3.0.1 crashes on opening one particular Microsoft Word 2003 document that I have. I can use Abiword to open it with no problem. I used to be able to open this document under OO.org 2.x just fine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): openoffice.org-writer-3.0.1-15.3.fc10.i386

How reproducible: Crashes on every open attempt.

Actual results: Attached dump log.

Expected results: Open document.

Additional info: Unfortunately the document is confidential, or else I would attach it as well.

If you trust me, send it directly to me by email and I'll keep it confidential
Comment 2 Caolan McNamara 2009-04-09 11:25:55 EDT
Good news is that this is working in 3.1, and is reproducible in 3.0.1
Comment 3 Caolan McNamara 2009-05-01 07:51:35 EDT
Bad new is that it's too hard to backport a complete safe fix to 3.0.1. Fixed in 3.1 though, and F-11 will be out soon
