Description Steve Grubb 2009-04-15 18:57:03 UTC
Description of problem:
The kmail program betwenn v4 and v3 changed in a way that makes it not useful when looking at the sent email folder. All entries are the sender - which I could have guessed was me. It should show the recipient of the email instead.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kdepim-4.2.1-3.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Look in sent folder after sending email
2. notice the column labels

Actual results:
sender

Expected results:
recipient

Does this also happen if you use the classic view instead of the new fancy KDE 4.2 one?

Comment 2 Steve Grubb 2009-04-15 21:28:58 UTC
Yes, I am using the classic view. If I click at the top of the column to select the columns I want to show and select receiver and de-select sender, then when I go to inbox I see receiver - which I could have guessed was me most of the time. This is a regression from the way kmail 3.5.x was working in F-9.

IF you right click on the Sent folder and choose Properties, you can select whether the folder shows the Receiver or the Sender. (Which is illogically preset to Sender but still can be changed)
