Description of problem: The graphical partitioner does not cross-hilight the selected partition between the diagram and the list box. Clicking on a partition in the diagram tints it red, but in the list box the corresponding line is not scrolled into view, and is not hilighted. Similarly, clicking on a partition in the list box draws the line with blue inverse video, but does not apply red tint to the corresponding rectangle in the diagram. I believe that this used to work in some previous release, perhaps Fedora 10. Currently there is some coupling. If you click on a partition in the diagram (thus tinting it red) and subsequently click on some NON-corresponding partition in the list box, then the red tinting is removed from the old but not applied to the new. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): anaconda-11.5.0.44 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run fresh install with several existing eligible partitions (ext3, large enough, etc.) 2. Click inside the area corresponding to a partition in the graphical diagram. 3. Click on a line corresponding to a partition in the list box. Actual results: No cross-hilighting for initial selection. Partial cross-un-hilighting for changing selection. Expected results: Full cross-hilighting between graphical diagram of partitions and list box of partitions. Additional info:
This will be fixed in the next build of anaconda. Thanks for the bug report.
