Is F10 currently supported?
It is more than a month and nobody has even touched it.

There is no other information in this case.
It is not possible to upgrade to 2.26.x in F10 if you do not want to upgrade gedit and the whole GNOME as well.

So what is the problem here?

Thanks for reporting and waiting on it (somehow it skipped from my eyes),

The gedit version for F10 latest was 2.24.3 and gedit-plugins was 2.22 and then 2.25, I have not tested yet whether 2.25 will work with 2.24.3 (which would be a sane update). So, I will soon look at backporting the fix if it is already not a problem with later version available in never stable releases. I would not push an update but will push a patch (most probably).

First I need to get a F10 machine or Vm up :(

I wouldn't be fixing it now, in F10.
