Description of problem: Say I have some broken dependencies in the system and want to update whole system excluding those broken packages. So I uncheck them and press the "Install Updates" button. Then it turns out I unchecked wrong or not all packages and want to correct my selection. After being returned back to the package list, I realize the selection has been reset and I have to manually make my changes once again. This is a regression from the old gpk-update-viewer Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-packagekit-2.27.2-0.2.20090414git.fc11.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start gpk-update-viewer, let it show all packages to update 2. Uncheck manually some packages 3. Press the Install Updates button, start the operation 4. "Local file conflict between packages" dialog will show up, press Close 5. We're back to the package list and my selection is gone, everything is selected again
I'm having problems reproducing this here -- could you please do: gpk-update-viewer -v and then do an update with a failed dep. After it's failed, please exit the tool and attach the debug output. Thanks!
Created attachment 340730 [details] debug log Please note I've added my comment in the middle of the log. I can give you access to my machine if you want. Btw. that dark blue text is unreadable on black terminal.
