Description Scott Glaser 2009-04-23 12:09:04 UTC
Description of problem:

If more than 300 characters are entered into the Favorite Channels list, everything after 300 is truncated and not sent to the server on startup.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

xchat-2.8.6-3.fc10.i386

How reproducible:

Occurs every time you exceed the 300 character limit.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Xchat>Network List>Freenode>Edit
2. Insert this list:
#fedora-unity-devel,#freenode,#fedora-unity,#fedora-unity-founders,#fedora-admin,#fedora-eol,#fedora-bugzappers,#fedora-classroom,#fedora-devel,#fedora-docs,#fedora-meeting,#fedora-meeting-1,#fedora-meeting-2,#fedora-websites,#fedora-ops,#fedora-qa,#fedora-social,#fudcon,#rhel,#rpmfusion,#fedora-mktg,#centos,#fedora

3. The last channel joined is #fedora-mk, which is where the truncating begins.

Actual results:

Not all channels are joined.

Expected results:

Expect all channels in the list to be joined.
