Actual results: error message: "Malformed expression" Expected results: 1000 Additional info: Calculator must be in scientific mode to make the "exp" button visible. Curiously, enter "1", "exp", "+", "3", "=" works as expected. Looks like a parser bug.
I was unable to reproduce this problem with gcalctool-5.26.2-1.fc11.i586 by clicking on these buttons with the mouse in the indicated sequence. I'm not sure if a backport is needed, or if this is a user-specific problem. It would be interesting to see if anyone else running Fedora 10 can reproduce this. If you move ~/.gconf/apps/gcalctool/%gconf.xml aside and then start gcalctool, does that help?
