Description of problem: The text mode is displayed instead of the shutdown animation. This occurs about 50% of the time. I cannot seem to isolate what causes this to happen only 50% of the time. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.7.0-0.2009.05.15.1.fc11 How reproducible: Shutdown computer Steps to Reproduce: 1. Initiate system shutdown Actual results: The system displays the various status messages during shutdown. Expected results: A nice animation. Additional info: Installed from KDE LiveCD Asus EEE PC 1000 Intel 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
This message is a reminder that Fedora 11 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 11. Fedora 11 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2010-06-25. Fedora 11 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
