A html file does exist in the rpm. However, the directory is appended by the version: $ rpm -qs oprofile|grep doc normal /usr/share/doc/oprofile-0.9.4 normal /usr/share/doc/oprofile-0.9.4/oprofile.html

There is a pending update of oprofile that should resolve this issue described in comment #3. could you give this a try and verify that it fixes the problem.
