Description Steve Wills 1998-12-17 10:24:12 EST
vipw tries to use /usr/bin/vi, normally a link
to vim, but its only there if vim-extended is installed.

Also, the vipw man page mentions "vigr" but it is nowhere to
be found.
Comment 1 Bill Nottingham 1998-12-17 12:01:59 EST
First part is duplicate of bug #120.
Comment 2 David Lawrence 1998-12-17 16:23:59 EST
It has been verified that the vipw man page mentions the vigr
executable which is not included in the util-linux package.
Comment 3 Erik Troan 1999-03-22 19:54:59 EST
1) addded vigr to util-linux-2.9-13
2) /bin/vi fix already in place
