Description Tomas Hoger 2009-07-08 13:18:54 UTC
Description of problem:
updateinfo.xml files generated by RHN hosted contains odd-looking referenced to cve.mitre.org site, for example:

<reference href="http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=com.redhat.rhn.domain.errata.Cve@11ffef0" id="CVE-2009-1579" type="cve"/>

Same reference in the updateinfo.xml file generated by RHN Satellite:

<reference href="http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2009-1579" id="CVE-2009-1579" type="cve">

I presume the odd URL used by hosted is not intentional and is rather a bug.

CVE links have been changed in a6195d47ae147d577f2d2e783437e00e93fd5fe0. The change is in QA right now.

Comment 2 Grant Gainey 2010-03-03 14:01:06 UTC
Actually, it's in stage and scheduled for the next update of RHN
