Description of problem:


How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run hwbrowser
2.If not root, enter root password
3.Wait aproximately 10-15 seconds (on a 800MHz Athlon, 256MB RAM)
	

Actual Results:  After a pause, a gui windows appears for less than a
second, and disappears, in the console you get the following error message:

Fixed in rawhide.

We (Red Hat) really need to fix this defect before next release.
