Description Matthew Saltzman 2009-07-13 14:22:40 UTC
Description of problem:
The MAPI connector seems to retrieve message ids from the server from scratch almost whenever any action is taken in a folder and even when no action is taken. Often, the process starts again as soon as it completes. For large inboxes, this process can take several tens of minutes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
evolution-mapi-0.26.2-1.fc11.x86_64
openchange-0.8.2-2.fc11.x86_64

How reproducible:
Frequently

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a MAPI account
2. Work with it for a while
3.

Actual results:
Frequent and slow message ID retrievals

Expected results:
Less frequent and/or faster retrievals or retrievals of deltas rather than from scratch.
