Description of problem: When the pilot applet is added to the Gnome panel, the applet runs but no icon is visible on the panel. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-pilot-2.0.17-2.fc11 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right-click on the panel. 2. Choose "Add to panel...". 3. Add "Pilot Applet". Actual results: gpilotd and gpilot-applet processes run, but no pilot icon is visible on the panel. Expected results: A pilot icon should become visible on the panel. Additional info: A patch is available at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-pilot/+bug/349650/comments/16 which fixes the problem.
