This is not a bug, or at least just a UI glitch ... hard-selection of encoding is not changed in UI, when Automatic selection is used (and hard-selection is ignored, when Automatic selection is on). Pushing UPSTREAM.

We filed this bug in the upstream database (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=505248) and believe that it is more appropriate to let it be resolved upstream.

We will continue to track the issue in the centralized upstream bug tracker, and will review any bug fixes that become available for consideration in future updates.

Thank you for the bug report.

Reporter, if you can still reproduce this issue with the latest Firefox from RHEL-5, could you pleae make a note in the upstream bugzilla and describe precisely how to reproduce this and what is the problem?

Thank you
