This dump is useless. Please "debuginfo-install pidgin" and get a new dump.

Comment 3 Steven Stern 2009-07-24 00:06:21 UTC
OK... from the command line

Pidgin 2.5.8-2.fc11 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.
This is a bug in the software and has happened through
no fault of your own.

If you can reproduce the crash, please notify the developers
by reporting a bug at:
http://developer.pidgin.im/simpleticket/

Please make sure to specify what you were doing at the time
and post the backtrace from the core file. If you do not know
how to get the backtrace, please read the instructions at
http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/GetABacktrace

Comment 6 Steven Stern 2009-07-24 00:21:02 UTC
removed purple-facebookchat and pidgin is now working again.

Comment 7 Warren Togami 2009-07-24 00:33:48 UTC
Yeah, those plugins are always trouble.

Comment 8 Ismael Olea 2009-07-24 00:48:08 UTC
Which version of purple-facebookchat are you using?

Maybe you'd want to try the brand new 1.60 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=115765

Comment 9 Steven Stern 2009-07-24 11:58:09 UTC
purple-facebookchat-1.52-1.fc11.i586. I'll give it a try.

Comment 10 Steven Stern 2009-07-24 12:02:47 UTC
Version 1.60 does not cause a crash... at least so far. <smile>
