bnx2i is a new driver for 5.4. The code that braodcom is asking to add will only affect bnx2i (userspace part of bnx2i), and they are doing the bulk of the QA on it, so adding devel_ack. This is in iscsi-initiator-utils-6.2.0.871-0.9.el5. A updated rpm with uip 0.4.3 can be found here http://people.redhat.com/mchristi/iscsi/rhel5.4/iscsi-initiator-utils/ ~~ Attention Partners - RHEL 5.4 Snapshot 5 Released! ~~ RHEL 5.4 Snapshot 5 is the FINAL snapshot to be release before RC. The ifdown issue seemed to be corrected, but I have seen a failure. Currently trying to assess whether it is user error on my part or not. I see it in 8.3.4: Note that the bnx2i version included in this release does not support IPv6. so nothing is needed. thanks. Thanks mike, setting teh requiresreleasenotes flag to + An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report.
