User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090717 Fedora/3.5.1-1.fc11 Firefox/3.5.1 Having just undated the laptop to Fedora 11 and yum updated, I am now finding that Thunderbird freezes every couple of minutes or so for a couple of minutes or so. Top shows that while thunderbird is in a freeze it takes all of the available CPU. The machine is not running into swap so it is not a memory issue. Previous versions of thunderbird did occasionally do this, but the frequency was in days, not minutes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Update Thunderbird 2. Execute Thunderbird 3. Wait for a minute or two Actual Results: Periodic freezes Expected Results: No periodic freezes thunderbird-3.0-2.3.beta2.fc11.i586
Seems like bug #493000 (there are some other reports too).

Yup ... Happy with that. I did do a search before submitting it, but didn't spot that one.
