Escalated to Bugzilla from IssueTracker
Public bug summary - 1. Time and date of problem: any - always 2. System architecture(s): any - gui problem 3. Problem description: Observed behavior: On the Satellite WebUI browsing to: Systems - <a system> - Software - Packages The List/Remove page contains a textbox 'Filter by Package Name'. After entering an invalid name for a package (i.e. nosuchpackage) the page will contain a message 'No packages.'. Unfortunately the textbox has also disappeared. This is very unfriendly, need to use the back-button or click on one of the tabs (List/Remove) to get the filter textbox again. Desired behavior: If the filter does not return a list of packages, keep the textbox so that the users can easily change the filter again.
fixed in spacewalk master: fe36cc296fa7aa1954fe8e4b0320033807bbcac5 filter box now shows up regardless of whether there are results or not.
Verified in stage. Search field remains filled even if zero packages returned.
