Description of problem: Synce gives random SELinux errors when I plug in device and does not work; suggested fixes do not work Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Happens whenever I plug in my iPaq. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Plug in iPaq. 2. 3. Actual results: Lots of SELinux denial messages tray icon reports it cannot connect Expected results: Synce connects to my iPaq Additional info: tried following advice in SELinux messages tried restorecontext on /tmp tried turning audit messages into an SELinux policy still got the same problem afterwards
Synce works if I do sudo setenforce 0
This package is dead.

Martin, try downgrading to the odccm package till the synce-hal-selinux thing gets sorted out.
Well, our "synce" package is dead for 22 months, so this bug is most probably assigned to wrong component. Please find out what the proper component is (e.g. by "rpm -qf <name-of-the-binary-you-run>") and change the component.
