xorg log file with crash

Description of problem:
I have Desktop Effects enabled. After I enter my login details on GDM screen, my user session begins to load, screen goes black and I'm back at GDM prompt. Sometimes it reaches point where desktop icons are displayed but inevitably backs to GDM prompt.
If I switch to text console immediately after entering password and wait for a while, loading completes (I verify it by listing processes). But after I switch back to graphical screen, for a split second I see my desktop then crash occurs.

Now the fun part: if I do "chmod -x /usr/bin/compiz-gtk" loading finishes OK. Then I can do chmod +x and start compiz manually in terminal it works fine.
Of course next login its back to crashing. Xorg.0.log.old states:

(II) Power Button (CM): Device reopened after 1 attempts.
(II) Power Button (FF): Device reopened after 1 attempts.
